Another thing people ask me is: What will happen when I finally arrive?

It cannot be said, only the opposite can be said.

It’s as if you had never tasted a mango and you ask me, “What does it taste like?” I’d say to you, “Sweet,” but in giving you a word, I’ve put you off the track. Try to understand that.

I can speak to you, not of the truth, but of obstacles to the truth. Those I can describe. I cannot describe the truth. No one can. All I can do is give you a description of your falsehoods, so that you can drop them. All I can do for you is challenge your beliefs and the belief system that makes you unhappy. All I can do for you is help you to unlearn.

That’s what learning is all about where spirituality is concerned: unlearning, unlearning almost everything you’ve been taught. The master can only point out your errors. When you drop your errors, you will know the truth. And even then you cannot describe it.

But get started and you will quickly see.  In a few short weeks, the quality of your experience changes. You’re different. You respond to life differently. You are much more alive. Your eyes reopen to the truth people everywhere are searching for, namely, that fountainhead of peace and joy that hides in every human heart. Upsets will keep coming depending on the depth of the programming you were subjected to, but I can assure you of this: I have not seen a single person who gave time to being aware in the way I have described who didn’t quickly see a difference.
